Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) is an acute respiratory infection caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Following WHO’s declaration of the COVID-19 a pandemic, the Nigerian Government has continued evolve strategies to contol the outbreak and manage patients. This short course targets a broad spectrum of health workers, including frontline professionals (doctors, nurses, laboratorians, pharmacists) and support staff (hygienists, kitchen staff, laundry staff, ambulance drivers and security personnel).
